As the Malaysian Telugu community celebrates their New Year or “Ugadi”, we are all once again reminded of the richness of our country’s heritage. In Malaysia, “Ugadi”is a major celebration in the Telugu community and is a time for families to come together to mark a new beginning.
In realising the 1Malaysia concept, Telugus play an important role in working with Government to address the issues faced by the people. The Government is constantly engaging directly with the people and implementing various programs to transform the country. In all our efforts, we are firmly committed to the principle that under the Malaysian sky, no community will be left out.
