Prime Minister of Malaysia "Ugadi Shubhakanshalu

Prime Minister of Malaysia- Datuk Seri Najib Razak wishing “Ugadi Shubhakanshalu”

U

As the Malaysian Telugu community celebrates their New Year or “Ugadi”, we are all once again reminded of the richness of our country’s heritage. In Malaysia, “Ugadi” is a major celebration in the Telugu community and is a time for families to come together to mark a new beginning.

In realising the 1Malaysia concept, Telugus play an important role in working with Government to address the issues faced by the people. The Government is constantly engaging directly with the people and implementing various programs to transform the country. In all our efforts, we are firmly committed to the principle that under the Malaysian sky, no community will be left out.

The Government is committed to deliver all our promises to the Indian community, and we have been doing just that over the last 3 years. The results are clear and the impact is positive. Longstanding problems have been overcome whilst new issues are being addressed.

In looking to the future and in celebrating new beginnings which a new year offers, let us build a partnership based on trust so that, together, we can uplift the community. I cannot do this alone and so I need each and every one of you to walk with me in this journey to bring transformation and the light of hope to all Malaysians.

I take this opportunity to wish “Ugadi Shubhakanshalu” to all Malaysian Telugus clear and the impact is positive. Longstanding problems have been overcome whilst new issues are being addressed.

I
