Andhra Pradesh Nandi film Awards for 2010

Addressing a joint press conference, Nandi Awards Committee Chairman N Shankar and Information and Public Relations Department Commissioner B Venkatesham said Golden Nandi for theBest Feature Film was bagged by ''Vedam.'' Hero and Heroine Allu Arjun and Anushka will receive the Copper Nandi and Commendation Certificates respectively, Mr Shankar said.

The Silver Nandi for the Second Best Feature Film was bagged by ''Ganga Putrulu'' with ''Prasthanam'' getting Bronze Nandi for the third Best Feature Film.

Film Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna was chosen as Best Leading Actor for his role in the film ''Simha and Nitya Menon as Best Leading Actress for 'Ala Modalaindi'.

P Suneel Kumar Reddy was chosen as the Best Director for his film 'Ganga Putrulu 'and while Chakri got the Best Music Director award for the film 'Simha'.

The Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Award for best Male PlaybackSinger went to Noted Music Director M M Keeravani for the song 'Telugu Ammai' in the film 'Maryada Ramanna'and the best Female Playback Singer to Ms Pranavi for the song 'Gama Padani' in the film 'Sneha Geetam'.

The Allu Ramalingaiah Award for Best Comedian Actor went to Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam for the film 'AAlasyam Amrutham' and the Best Comedian Actress to Ms Jhansi for the film 'Simha.
